This isn’t new for Great Britain, making lightweight sports cars. When American soldiers returned home from Europe after World War II, many of them spoke in their encounters with the small, jumpy British cars. Many of them even brought the cars home – and for good reason. Great Britain in the 50s and 60s was the country to buy from if you were in the mood for something small, light, and quick. The fact of the matter was that these types of cars were – and still are – genuinely exciting.
And with the lineup that British sports car manufacturers currently provide, this seems to be a tradition of the United Kingdom. In this video, Chris Harris proves that no roof and poor weather can actually be a good combination. Depending on the car you’re in, of course.
