Chris Harris Breaks in the New Renault Clio

This new age of ultra-fast-changing paddle-shifters replacing the ‘old’ manual gearboxes in affordable sports cars hasn’t necessarily gone over to well with much of the automotive world.  Car enthusiasts are consistently bashing the newest sports machines that companies are producing as many loathe the riddance of their beloved manual ‘box sports cars from a few years ago.  Currently, there is an abundance of internet forums and YouTube video comment sections – including the video featured here – with self-proclaimed car enthusiasts complaining about the removal of the stick shift on the new Clio’s transmission tunnel.  It’s been the talk for months, and now, finally, Chris Harris is here to tell us if this new Clio is any good in comparison to the old car, and whether or not the car should have those notorious flappy paddles behind the steering wheel.
